  10.        This chapter describes the changes and additions to Open
  11.        Inventor 2.1 since Open Inventor 2.0, that are of interest
  12.        to end users. See the Release Notes for the Open Inventor
  13.        Development Kit (inventor_dev.man.relnotes) for a complete
  14.        list of new and changed features in the toolkit.

  17.        _V_i_e_w_e_r _U_s_e_r _I_n_t_e_r_f_a_c_e

  19.          Several of the Inventor applications use the standard
  20.          Inventor viewers.  The user interface for some of these
  21.          has changed. See the help cards for the viewers for more
  22.          information on the changes.  For example, in the
  23.          _S_c_e_n_e_V_i_e_w_e_r, click on the '?' icon on the right hand side
  24.          of the window, to bring up the help card for the current
  25.          viewer.

  30.          On systems that do not have hardware support for texture
  31.          mapping, the Inventor viewers now by default set the
  32.          interactive draw style to move without textures.  In other
  33.          words, while you move the viewpoint, the texture is
  34.          disabled.  To change this behavior, use the right mouse
  35.          button to pop up the "Draw Style" menu to change the draw
  36.          style.

  41.          The _i_v_q_u_i_c_k_e_n utility program is no longer supported.  A
  42.          new utility program, _i_v_f_i_x, restructures scene graphs for
  43.          improved performance

  48.          The _i_v_v_i_e_w program now accepts standard X11 command line
  49.          options, such as -geometry and -display.

  53.          examiner viewer.

  55.          A pulldown menu allows you to run _i_v_f_i_x on the scene
  56.          graph, and turn on backface culling.

  58.          _i_v_v_i_e_w no longer runs _i_v_q_u_i_c_k_e_n on the input file before
